2 Why?s'

When jus moving in & around the WEB, had come across two articles, which is taken into mind-grind as below.

The first one being medical, being with a design consultancy, which is more into medical products nowadays,

-during a few many interactions, I have always felt that almost all product innovations in medical field, seem to aim in introducing curing aids for critical diseases(existing and expected !!)
- but even if half the money spent on such researches are spent in proper way, it seems the backdrop reasons / root causes for the so called (existing & expected!!)diseases itself can be rooted-off.
- Even though its a business after all, above all its a field which can serve a lot better to the living-beings(irrespective of races, families, species, etc and whatever science names it) without a compromise on profits margins(& other financial terms-jus add it)

And the way the innovation is dealt with by the people in business seem just find out ways to make money and doesn't seem a bit to have care and to cure the medical problems of people. In a step further, people in the business even try do it in a way that the product seem to cure i.e. how to fool people and release the product, irrespective of the effeciency of the product to give minimum desired results of curing.
One such example !!

These people claim that they do better by Angioplasty by by-passing the by-pass surgery. But had they failed to do as what this research reveals, or have they hidden back this truth at the time of its innovation-(which will be the possible truth), because the basic principle of angioplasty of using the so called Stents, itself shows its a Commercially viable solution and certainly not a solution which aimed to solve the problem once and for all(and that too after spending that much of bucks in belief, byy the victims), rather it seems to be a more devastating solution, again which has been revealed now as useless.

So, after going thru' all this, are they going to change their attitude towards their business? (service to survival), or atleast or they going to throw off the method over-night(which is cleared now atleast as useless)??? NO, Not at all !!!!! Whyyyyyyyyyyy????????

The second one is a silly why !!!

Of Course, roaming around the whole world- should be pleasant, good, learning, etc & etc experience, at the end of which it would have a heavy impact in the way we look life, after witnessing that many people, that many dissimilar cultures colurs & civilizations, that many food habits & varieties, that many different climatic zones, that many diverse environments, that many exciting moments, that many targical moments, and a many other that many'ies, which come in the way.

But atlast, whatz the quotient derived, and how & what it can help atleast himself/herself or atleast what it has got to do with him/her, if not to a few others too, by doing this for full six years running around the not-flat earth.
It feels like, there is more a human can contribute with that much of time, energy, and (not the least) money involved, in much better ways to himselves/herselves and the whole world, which could make a world of a difference. Is it jus of & for records filled with self egoistic satisfactions !!!, or something else's there. Whyyyyy?????????

I don't understand. I would love & wish to get a convincing and pragmatic answer for these Whys' so..
